Breaking the monopoly of Islam on the use of the words Allah, etc.

The word ALLAH was in use before Islam was born. The catholic church has claimed a right to its use. Is it winning?

Is the claim of the catholic church false? No. See what is written in the quran. Mohammed says that if u ask the pagans as to who created you, they will surely say ‘allah’. This implies allah pre-dates islam in arabia.

If indeed thou ask them who has created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law), they will certainly reply, “Allah. How are they then deluded away (from the truth)? Allah enlarges the sustenance (which He gives) to whichever of His servants He pleases; and He (similarly) grants by (strict) measure, (as He pleases): for Allah has full knowledge of all things. And if indeed thou ask them who it is that sends down rain from the sky, AND GIVES LIFE THEREWITH TO THE EARTH AFTER ITS DEATH, they will certainly reply, “Allah!” Say, “Praise be to Allah!” But most of them understand not. S. 29:61-63

And if thou ask them, ‘Who has created the heavens and the earth?’ They will, surely, answer, ‘ALLAH.’ Say, ‘All praise belongs to ALLAH.’ But most of them have no knowledge. S. 31:25 Sher Ali

And should you ask themWho created the heavens and the earth? THEY WOULD MOST CERTAINLY SAY: Allah. Say: Have you then considered that what you call upon besides Allah, would they, if Allah desire to afflict me with harm, be the removers of His harm, or (would they), if Allah desire to show me mercy, be the withholders of His mercy? Say: Allah is sufficient for me; on Him do the reliant rely. S. 39:38 Shakir

And those whom they invoke besides God have no power of intercession;- only he who bears witness to the Truth, and they know (him). If thou ask them, who created themTHEY WILL CERTAINLY SAY, God: How then are they deluded away (from the Truth)? (God has knowledge) of the (Prophet’s) cry, “O my Lord! Truly these are people who will not believe!” S. 43:86-88

Allah (English pronunciation: /ˈælə/ or /ˈɑːlə/Arabic: الله‎ AllāhIPA: [ʔalˤˈlˤɑːh] ( listen)) is the Arabic word for God (literally ‘the God’, as the initial “Al-” is the definite article).[1][2][3] It is used mainly by Muslims to refer to God in Islam,[4] Arab Christians, and often, albeit not exclusively, by Bahá’ísArabic-speakers, Indonesian, Malaysian and Maltese Christians, and Mizrahi Jews.[5][6][7]

Finally, we arrive at the question as to which of the following will decide the meaning of the word ‘allah’ and on what basis?

Arab Christians, ,

Indonesian,Malaysian and Maltese Christians,

Mizrahi Jews

I reckon allah will be defined on the basis of the principle of ‘Might is Right ‘. Whosoever wins the clash of civilizations will define ‘allah’.

Can the catholic church  digest Islam?
